Kuningan Barat-Rawa Barat Bridge Officially Opened

South Jakarta Mayor Muhammad Anwar officially opened the Harapan Baru Inter-Village Bridge (JAK), linking the RW 04 area in Kuningan Barat, Mampang Prapatan, to RW 05 in Rawa Barat, Kebayoran Baru.

He noted that the bridge's construction demonstrates his team's dedication to improving public services, specifically regarding infrastructure.

"This project meets requests made by residents during community planning meetings. The previous bridge was dangerous; its structure was too low and wobbly, which worried the locals," he explained, Fridayn(12/12).

With a span of 21 meters and a width of 1.8 meters, the JAK bridge caters to pedestrians, pushcarts, and motorbikes. It not only eases transport access but also paves the way for economic growth and better living standards for the neighborhood.

"May our actions today bring lasting benefits to the whole community," he added.

RT 03/04 Chairwoman, Kuningan Barat, Siti Rodiah explained, the bridge has been highly anticipated by locals to support daily mobility and symbolize the social ties between the two cross-district neighborhoods.

"The residents are thrilled. Let's hope that other suggestions will also come to fruition in the next Musrenbang," she stated.
